It was a slow start for the Haskell Indian Nations University cross country team.  HINU made the short drive to Baldwin City on Saturday to compete in Baker University's Maple Leaf Invitational.  In the women's 4K event, freshman Hunter Boorigie was the first runner for Haskell to cross the tape with a time of 19:11.5 while sophomore Nahtonabah Smith finished at 19:55.4.  The men were also led by a freshman as Tobias Weddell completed the 5K with a respectable 18:41.2.
